Bali: the island that
returns you to yourself
There are islands you go to in order to see something. And islands you go to in order to remember something — about yourself. Bali is the latter. Here the journey inward matters just as much as the journey outward.
The first morning in Ubud greets you with the scent of incense and the sound of water. The rice terraces descend like green steps toward the mist, and somewhere below a bell marks the beginning of the day. Life here moves at a different tempo — slower, more conscious, somehow more real.
The Balinese have a word for the balance between people, nature and spirit — Tri Hita Karana. It’s not a philosophy from a book. You see it in every corner: in the flowers left at the doorstep, in the calm of the people, in the way the island invites you to slow down.
You don’t go to Bali to escape life. You go to remember how to live it.
Between temples and jungle
The days here unfold like chapters of a book. The sacred spring of Tirta Empul, where the water washes away more than the body. Tegalalang, where rice has grown in terraces for centuries. The waterfalls of the north, hidden in the jungle. And Uluwatu — where the ocean meets the sky, and the sunset makes everyone fall silent.
The art of being yourself
That’s why our Bali journey is more than an itinerary. It’s woven from moments of presence — art-therapy sessions in nature, led by a Bulgarian therapist; quiet breakfasts by the pool; dinners with no rush. A place where you can simply be.
You’ll return with less tension in your shoulders and more clarity in your mind. With the feeling that somewhere along the way you left something heavy behind — and picked up something important.
Bali — the island of harmony.
